Welcome
The Clinical Robotic Surgery Association ("CRSA", the "Association") focuses on robotic surgery in the field of general surgery and its related specialties, including: Upper GI; HPB; Thoracic; Colorectal; Vascular; Transplant; ENT; Endocrine; Oncology; and Bariatric. We aim to provide clinical, educational and innovative services that will constitute the preferred forum to compare and discuss practical aspects of robotic surgery. True to our hope to advance technology, one of the principal vehicles to deliver our message is this website that allows surgeons to share videos, advice and innovative approaches with one another, for the real value in moving robotic surgery forward is to share as much information about the process and techniques as possible. Accordingly, we facilitate the opportunity to contact colleagues, experts, proctors or trainers in favor of multi-institutional programs. We organize exchanges, stages, case observations, virtual and on-site meetings allowing a constant connectivity at an international level. As a CRSA member you will benefit from being permanently connected to peers and specialists, sharing your expertise and your experience. You can connect and discuss techniques, approaches and concerns you might have in relation to a certain procedure with your peers. At this time of great change in the healthcare industry technology advances faster than ever before, with robotic surgery leading the way. Whether you are a well-trained surgeon in robotic techniques or just starting to learn, CRSA is the perfect environment for you to grow as a physician, as a surgeon, and as an expert.
Mission
The Association's mission is to help spread robotic techniques in general surgery and its related specialties. More specifically, the Association plans to undertake activities aimed to: Provide a forum to compare and discuss practical aspects of surgery; Facilitate the opportunity to contact colleagues, experts, proctors and trainers; Favor multi-institutional programs at all times; Support and favor clinical and experimental research aimed at expanding the clinical application of robotic surgery; and Develop standards of practice that encourage quality improvement in clinical practice for the purpose of enhancing patient safety. To that end, the Association will: Build and mantain an interactive web environment allowing surgeons to share videos, advice and innovations; Facilitate the opportunity to contact colleagues, experts, proctors and trainers; Organize exchanges, stages, and case observations, and conduct virtual and on-site meetings; Organize, support and standardize educational models and training programs; and Support and favor clinical and experimental research aimed at expanding the clinical application of robotic surgery.
