He carries out research mainly in the field of abdominal wall hernia surgery (in charge of a multi-center trial on the evaluation of the means of fixing the prostheses during laparoscopic repair of the laparoceles), and in the field of endocrine surgery.

Training and specific experience in the field of hernial surgery, also and above all on laparoscopic techniques both for inguinal hernias and for ventral / laparocelic hernias, with ample case studies.

Professor of general surgery at the University of Rome "Sapienza", as part of the Master's degree courses, specialist and at the School of Specialization in General Surgery, Master in laparoscopic surgery and Advanced Training Courses.
